My extensive background, values, and motivations are the backbone of this decision to seek to represent South Australians as an independent voice in the Legislative Council.

Motivation and Vision
My decision to stand as an independent candidate stems from a deep commitment to community advocacy and a belief in transparent, accountable leadership. Having witnessed first-hand the impact of party politics on local decision-making, I recognise the need for a voice that prioritises people over party interests.
My vision for South Australia is centred on fairness, sustainability, and inclusive growth. I am passionate about protecting the character of local communities by ensuring meaningful planning reform, and fostering policies that reflect genuine community needs in solving our housing shortage. This campaign has been shaped by key moments – such as leading grassroots initiatives against poorly-considered developments – which reinforced the value of independent representation in government.
What sets me apart is my unwavering independence. Free from party obligations, I champion practical, community-driven solutions and am dedicated to listening to diverse perspectives. I invite all South Australians to join this campaign, whether by volunteering, sharing ideas, donating or supporting efforts to build a more transparent and accountable future for our state.
As the Chair of ME/CFS SA, Vice-chair of ME/CFS Australia, Founder of Community Development Advocacy SA and a volunteer Specialist Business Professional with Australian Business Volunteers, I don’t just talk about values, I live them.
Guiding Values for a Transparent and Fairer South Australia
My campaign is built on unwavering principles that place respect for community interests above all else. As an independent candidate, I am committed to transparent leadership, genuine advocacy, accountability and meaningful reform.
